CLEANING AND DRYING WET RUNNING SHOES
Even if they're soaking wet or dirty, you can clean and care for your running shoes using common household items. It's a bit of work, but with proper care, you'll enjoy your shoes for longer.
Putting your running shoes in the washing machine or dryer will cause them to deteriorate more quickly. Take the following precautions beforehand:

If you have no other choice and your shoes need to be dry within 12 hours, clean them as described above. To dry, briefly add them to the washing machine during the final spin cycle. In an emergency, you can also put them in the dryer on a gentle cycle until they're "closet dry."
